For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.May i suggest to all that are getting them to run an anti-virus program in the background and eliminate them, if "move to chest" or delete option not selected....it may be a malicious one.....Chuck will know or the Ed once he/she turns up and gets the techies on the case and explains how this is happening.

Looks like it might be one of the advertisers having been infected at some point - but we cannot yet be sure.
This also seems to be mainly a Google Chrome problem - so we have no ruled out an error on Google's behalf.

Ed, ive left you a message on the other thread about this, the one in Tech. As I said there, wouldn't it be better to slap any message or update you get about thyis problem on that one? No offence to Pasta, but any post you make on this thread will be shuffled off the page within the hour and we won't see it.
Make it a sticky in tech or in Suggs perhaps?
And hurry up about it will ya? As my 5 year old is constantly saying "this is doin' me nut in"
