Hi,

Does anyone know if there is an alternative to Spotify in the US and if so what?

I know you can access the invite only version and also pay for it but is there a free alternative version you can access for free?

Spotify is free, don't know about an invite version. I have it and no body invited me.

As its internet based its world wide so why would there be a US version.

No it's based in Sweden and only launched in Europe.

They can tell where you are based on IP address which is why it's not available free in the US but I was just wondering whether there was an alternative to spotify in the US.

Try Last.fm before the Spotify hit US market. plus it's free
