What are your comments regarding Saturday night's television programmes?

What was that 'Numbers Game' all about? Yuk!

Highlight of the evening another repeat of old programmes, 'An audience with' , yawn.

That's why I have invested in Sky Documentary Channels, I don't get bored with those....
I didn't watch anything at all last night.
Could,nt agree you more aog.
It,s rapidly becoming the worst viewing night of the week and that is saying something!
I don't watch a huge amount of tv anyway but I agree, Saturday night is awful. The only time I even turn it on is to watch non of my lottery numbers coming out - trying not to see any of the mind numbing quiz things that always accompany it!
and that one with John Barrowman was only a replacement for Cilla's Surprise Surprise. Never anything original
Totally agree, Saturday is far and away the worst night of the lot.
Hya Conn, just popped in to say hello to you x
Thats because they assume that most go out on a saturday night...
you have more of a larf in here :-o)
Hi Bobbisox - hello to yourself - hoped you enjoyed your musical last night and whatever happened after that hahahha.

Yes I agree, but isn't it mostly the young that go out, but the programme planners seem to cater mostly for the young.

If we must have repeats, let's have repeats of some of the better Saturday night's shows of old.

Any suggestions?

I know it was a Sunday night show but what about 'Sunday Night at the Palladium? Another chance to see real stars from home and across the 'pond'.
"The good old days"
I did Conn, 50s rock and roll musical, it was brilliant thank you ♥
please no, I think if they repeated Sunday Night at the palladium, you would be very disappointed, with the likes of Shirley Bassey screeching at us, and yes I agree Saturday nights and every day of the week, t.v. is appalling, and we pay these so called stars heaps of money for rubbish.

Nothing wrong with our Shirley.

But what about Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin. Sammy Davis Jr. Tony Bennett, Frankie Laine, Guy Mitchell, Nat King Cole The Platters, Bill Haley, and our own Matt Monroe?

Oh if we could see them again.
The opera on BBC4 was superb last night, leaving the presenter (Stephen Fry, who's not usually lost for words) almost speechless in his admiration for the performance.
Oh, please no, I think I will just read another book, I can't stand any of the ones that you mentioned, and I am in my dotage!!
