If you are indifferent to the first, and startospherically irritated by the second, then maybe its appeal is a little limited! Try 'NYPD Blue' tonight on Channel 4 - you'll be glad you did!
Put simply NO. In my opinion the best program on TV at the moment is Marion and Geoff, BBC2 10pm can't remember which night. For cookery programs Gary Rhodes is very good and that guy with the place in Padstow who's name I can't remember! Plus I always loved Keith Floyd! Who I think is rerun on cable sometimes I think it says a lot about the program Ready Teady Cook that very few "top" chefs appear on it, not saying they aren't exceptionally talented, but maybe if they concentrated on their restaurants rather than TV they too would have 3 michelin stars like Gordon Ramsey!

Should carry a "don't try any of this at home" warning in my opinion. I'm only surprised Ainsley has not been on the business end of a sharp knife the way he keeps hamming it up for the camera week in week out. It's probably the only programme that gets me flicking channels quicker than the adverts.
