does anyone know which song the lyrics I dont care what the weatherman says if the weatherman says it's raining, you'll never here me complaining! come from. I've tried looking on regular lyrics sites but they all come up with Jeepers Creepers and if you actually listen to that song it doesn't mention anything like these lyrics! Please help it's driving me mad!!

Oh, ok! I cant seem to find the Warner and mercer one on two radio websites I know (radioblogclub.com and cdzinc.com) and all the others I listen to don't seem to include that first verse, a little annoying! Even the Louis Armstrong one I found didn't include it! Ah well, I'll have to keep trying!

sophie_1003 - as any rock star worth his salt will tell you, never doubt Jack Daniels! Warren and Mercer were the writers of the song, not the artists. It was most famously recorded by Louis Armstrong, and yes, it definitely does include those lyrics.

Well thats why I cant find the Warren and Mercer one then! But honestly the only one I've found by Loius Armstrong does not contain these lyrics, I have limited resources to find the song, the version I listened to was on www.cdzinc.com if you doubt me, search 32kb and continue from there, that one most definitley does not include those lyrics, it just jumps staright into the chorus, the first line being jeepers creepers where d'you get them peepers and continues from there. If you could tell me where to get the correct song without having to pay though I would much appreciate it!

Ah, that explains it! The version you've found is a version re-recorded in the 1960s for the Hello Dolly soundtrack, and meant more as a showcase for Armstrong's trumpet talents, which cuts out some of the lyrics. The version with the "weatherman" lyrics was recorded many years earlier. As for downloading for free, you could try places like www.allcoolmusic.com or www.mymusicinc.com for example, but you'd probably have to register.

... you can find a link to a sound clip of the song which does at least prove that the song contains those lyrics. :-)
