That's the lyric and the singer sounds a lot like Bobby Darin - the song has a big band 50s sound.

It's the soundtrack to the new Skoda Superb estate advert, and I can't find any further information aboyt is.

Does anyone know who it's by, and what it's called???

I can confirm that the singer on this Skoda Superb TV advert singing "Bluebird" is Jeff Hooper.
It's from a session he did with the writers Hal David & John Cacavas. I know this is true as I'm a trumpet player in Jeff Hooper's band.
There seems to be a trend building for the use of Jeff Hooper's voice on auto adverts, he recently was featured singing "Winter Warm" on the international JEEP TV advert - another soundtrack by Hal David & John Cacavas.
Both songs can be bought, in full, from the iTunes website - just search for the song title, and look for Hal David & John Cacavas.

Thanks guys for helping me find the song 'I've Got Wings'.

As a 'Tour de France' tragic I have seen the TV ad about 40 times since the Tour has started and I've been wondering who was the singer. It's great to be able to find all the details and also have a complete set of the lyrics.

It's one of those tunes that gets under your skin and you find yourself humming it from time to time.

In Australia, they're currently running the Skoda ad during the ad breaks for the Tour de France - it's the only time I've ever turned up an ad!!!!!!!! And it's definitely Bobby Darin.
