Does shoe cream work like polish?
If I have medium brown cowboy boots and this shoe cream is dark brown, can i use it to darken the boots and cover up marks where the polish has been scratched?
But can i not use it if it looks as if its gone off. There's a litle bit off liquid, but if cream cheese was like that my family and I would jsut scrape away any mould and liquid and use the rest, can I do that with this?

Shoe cream is more of a dye containg leather conditioner so won't produce the luster and shine of the polish. Probably better than shoe polish in most cases. Just use a utensil to stir up the long unused shoe cream... it'll be just fine.
