I think only by becoming a member of the Times Crossword Club if you want access on a Friday.

I usually wait until the paper arrives on Saturday - I can scan it and email it to you then if you wish.

Zita, they are prizes won for EV entries. They have arrived over the years, some are stainless steel, some are plastic, but there are also numerous different styles of cases. The nib has been of consitent quality. There was a very rewarding thump as the jiffy bag landed on the mat, but the quality has deteriorated, so I don't send in completed crosswords now. Good luck to you however, you have made superb progress, but why do we not see you on the EV N&C thread, that is fun and helpful?
Zita,
Try the search function, EV XXX, this week I think it's EV 924. Apart from Kayakamina, we don't give actual answers, usually just comedic hints! We also like to natter and chatter, it was DevaDolly that started that. She also initiated a Dunces Corner (DC) which is elaborately furnished, with luxury food and drink. We have a Completers Corner, which DevaDolly calls the Clever Cloggis Corner, all in all a fun place for anyone trying EV. We also have the tag line of the Wine Club, need I say more!

This seems rather different from the usual sort of thread! I feel compelled to contribute having come to a standstill with two to go and I believe 12 clashes, which suggests I have gone wrong somewhere. The two in question are 1a and 34a, neither of which I fully understand. Perhaps I'm not going to manage it this time.

The (mis-labeled) thread with all the usual suspects is here:

Hi Zita
I hope you got your copy.
Reading through this thread I note that DocHH has made a point of mentioning me in connection with giving answers to EV questioners.
I'm not sure why he felt this was necessary as , afterall, this is Answerbank not Hintbank
and it has never been properly explained to me why some questioners can have a full answer but others not.
Similarly are there some crosswords that are sacrosanct and answers are taboo? If so which are the crosswords, who decided and in what capacity?
I have been answering questions on EV for over 6 years and this new 'convention' seems to have crept in quite recently.
