Hi, just to update those who gave me advice on my dilemma. My husband spoke to the Renal team who deal with him and they advised him not to go. I emailed the hotel and explained the situation and they contacted me today to say they will refund the money, and we have managed to book another hotel in the city. So we'll be able to enjoy our anniversary without any worries of mr mac coming down with anything nasty. Thanks to you all for your help,
