I think of burgers and rather large people in flowery shirts with cameras, when I think of Americans.
Mexicans - wearing hats and sitting beside cacti in the desert with tequila
Chinese - blue shirts, bamboo hats, rice paddies
Japanese - cherry blossom and Sony
Spanish - bullfights
Arabs - desert, camels, oil, cities springing up out of nowhere
Aussies - tinnies, barbies, and hats with corks
(This is awful, making such sweeping generalisations which are very largely now wrong!, I hadn't thought I would think of so many - but this is how you would quickly identify a nationality if you saw one in a cartoon!)
