olive tree

I have a two year old olive tree in a pot , its not very big, but has sprouted flowers ok this year.It is however very lob-sided, and was wondering whether it is ok to shape it a bit at this time of year.

Should be fine as long as it's finished flowering.

Just a word of encouragement, I likewise snipped at a small olive tree in a pot earlier this year, I presumed at the beginning of its growing season. For weeks I watched the twigs bare and bereft of shoots, in fact I thought I'd killed it! Surprise surprise about a month ago the shoots decided to appear. Now its back to a bush I'm relieved to say so if it happens to you don't give up!
