if its an FAO and it has not been answered yet, then I tend to steer clear, if a few people have replied then I would feel more inclined to reply.

oh you answer them out of sympathy then? It's often the case that the people trying to communicate via here are also contacts in other forums/email etc, which seems a little bizzarre
