Is that the Mediaeval Babes vocal group....I used to like them......:-(
I had visions of buxom Nell Gwynn types, spilling out of their period costumes.

Yes, Pasta ... that's them.

They have wonderful voices.

Hopkirk ... they do wear sort of "period" costumes ... but in a "dreamy" kind of fashion.
I've always loved 'Early Music', and they had an interesting slant on it.
I guess they were one of the first groups to popularise classical music while looking gorgeous.
Good morning folks,
Pasta any news about your daughter pet?
Hi Bobbi...yes-she got back in the UK last night-and is going to the doctors today. Let's hope it is just an infection of some sort. Thanks for asking hun xx

The previous (vanished) thread was a homage to Katharine Blake.

I said that I had 11 of her recordings ...

7 with the Mediaeval Baebes, and

4 with Miranda Sex Garden.

She has an exquisite voice. But ... the vanished thread suggested that Katherine B was a "genius". I said that, in musical terms, I would reserve the word "genius" for people like Kirsten Flagstad. Katherine B is just very, very good.
You can try 'contact us' jj.........seems not to be the sort of thread that needs chopping.....
Question Author
It wasn't my thread, pasta.

I wasn't worried ... just curious.

=0)
