Blackheads
I know it's been asked on here before, but I have tried previous suggestions and none have helped. Perhaps new information has come to light?
I've tried everything to shift the blackheads on my nose; lotions, pads, blackhead clearing scrubs (including "Neutrogena blackhead eliminating scrub" which eliminated absolutely nothing!), and I've given these products a few weeks, if not months use, to see if they would help.
I've also tried those removal strips to see if it will shift them, as well as following advice I've found online such as using a facial sauna to open the pores first. I've even bought an expensive electronic remover off ebay, which again did nothing!
The only thing that shifts them a bit is squeezing with fingers wrapped in tissue, but this doesn't remove them all and leads to redness which can last a few days, and sometimes damages or breaks the skin.
So now I'm really desperate, and I turn to the answer bank for help! Can anybody offer me some advice on how to shift these unsightly cretins from my nose?!

I think I'll go to the body shop tomorrow, and if that fails, I'll look into some of the perhaps more costly solutions on that website. Maybe even microdermabrasion, haha, I guess it depends how desperate I am.
Once again, many thanks.
Have you tried putting your thumb on one side of the bridge of the nose, first finger on the other, and pull both down. It stretches the skin across the nose and often lots of little worms come squirming out of the pores (sorry this is a bit rank). It works a treat for me - especially after a bath, hot shower, or best of all, swimming. The best thing is that it doesn't involve you really putting any pressure on the skin, so no red marks or swelling. Then just wipe it away with some toner or something. do it regularly and you should stay on top of the problem. Hope it works for you
