Does anyone know where online in the UK I could rent or hire jigsaw puzzles

Hi

Does anyone know of a company that rents or hires jigsaw puzzles, my mother has broken both her legs and will be stuck in bed for a while so we thought jigsaw puzzles would help pass the time as she used to love doing them.

Yes I get allmine from charity shops. Sometimes libraries have them to hire.

The Count just beat me to it, they are a great source for jigsaws and most pride themselves on checking pieces, cheap too and you are donating to charity at the same time.
Poor Mum hope she feels brighter soon, can be very miserable.

I don't think that anybody would rent out jigsaws, for the very nature of what they are - too many pieces to go missing, and each time they were sent back, somebody would either have to do the jigsaw, or count the pieces, so as everybody else says, charity shops are your best bet.

you could buy them in Poundland or Poundshops 10 puzzles for 10 pounds that would keep her going. Bless her it will be a while before she is out of bed

As well as charity shops, you get them at car boot sales and jumble sales, yard sales.

Almost forgot - on ebay there are hundreds for sale, you have to pay the postage of course.

Our town has a Jigsaw library, where you can hire for as long as it takes you to complete and there is no charge, just a donation box! My husband uses it all the time.Worth enquiring from your local council.

Do you have a local Freecycle group? You ask for what you want and you get it for free. It is amazing what you can recycle in this way.

If you are anywhere near Harrow you could borrow some of mine, I have a huge collection that I actually want to sell (£2 a pop) but I'd be happy to lend some in a good cause.
