Unless you want to do some video editing the easiest way to do this is to connect your VHS player to a DVD recorder with a scart lead.

Press play on the VHS player and record on the DVD recorder.

It is that easy.

(This is also an easy way to get your videos on to your computer. Once they are on a DVD you can put them in your PC and copy the video off the DVD to your hard drive).

Note that VIDEO takes a lot a hard disk space and a 250Gb or 500Gb drive may be required - depending on the length of your video.
you need something on the lines of a Dazzle video converter to provide an input to your PC, the easiest way is to buy a DVD /VHS player recorder and put the vhs tape into the unit put a Blank dvd and press copy to dvd.
It's much easier than I thought! And downloads are so fast! I downloaded many songs and as they say, it was perfect. Now I am discovering all the music/movies that I can download. This is SO cool!. Try it yourself http://www.kazaa-platinum.com
