Glueing concrete together
Winter frost caused the small reservoir at the top of our fountain to shear off leaving a reasonably clean face on each side. I am hoping to 'stick' these faces together and would like some advice re materials. I do not want to use epoxy resin and have been told use ordinary silicon sealant, well coated, which I feel would work.

It has sheared completely round about 40-50mm from bottom, does not hold a lot of water. Do not want to drill and want to use adhesive to save pinning even temporarily, and can weigh it down until all sets.
