I dont know what category this question would come under - so i'll park it here .

Has anyone had a dream where you are in a dangerous situation of life and death - and just before the critical moment , you wake up .

e.g.

- falling from a building - waking up before you land
Having a gun pointed at you - waking up just before the trigger is pulled .

What would happen if you didn't wake up , just before ?

I would assume you would dream very vividly about your own demise. I had the most awful dream the other day (and generally I do not dream or at least cannot remember them) - it was truly disturbing.

I have dreamt about my own death before though and seen it through so to speak just shakes you up generally. The theory of you will die in real life if you hit the ground when falling in a dream is quite obviously rubbish

I have both fallen and hit the ground and been shot in my dreams, and woke up to tell the tale, although i was quite shaken.

Has anyone ever dreamt they were having a shít and then woken up to find themselves sharing the bed with a Mersey trout?
