Hi all. Sorry geting a bit confused with title and questions. As some of you may remember, I had the awful experience of seeing a 3 year old knocked over and killed earlier this year and I have now been called to re coroners court for the inquest. Has anyone ever had experience of this sort of thing and what was it like?
Thanks

Unlike a criminal court, the coroner usually goes out of his way to make it as painless as possible for the bereaved parents. The one I attended did not have a 'dock' and although the police attending stood in the equivalent of a witness stand, I was allowed to remain seated with my family.
