How much will our upgraded line speed up the internet?

Hi, bt are currently upgrading our lines from the exchange to the cabinet in our village, fiber to the cabinet, (FTTC). we live about half a mile from the cabinet and the cabinet is 4 ish miles from the exchange. our current speed is 1MB. I know there are loads of factors which will affect this, but could someone give an educated guess as to what speed we could expect after the upgrade?

a decent line from the cab to your house would give you (in my estimation) about 6-7Mb/s
