My PC which has the software for my wireless router & printer has died.
I can still use another wireless PC to access the internet, i have tried to run the software disk to put the router software on to the new PC but web page not known - is that because it is already registered to my original PC.
Any ideas how i can get this software & the software for my wireless printer on to the new PC. When i run a search for available printer it cannot find ir.

what router is it? you could possibly access it from its ip address, without using the software
You don't need the router software (you didn't need it on the first computer either)

The printer drivers will be available for download from the manufacturers website.

It's a Belkin, how do i do this & how do i find the IP address

What happens when the router needs re-booted which it often does, i need to access the software to do this ?
You pull the power lead out of it and plug it back in again.

The IP address for your router is probably 192.168.2.1 so just try typing that into the address bar on a browser (or click here http://192.168.2.1 ) and you should get the routers admin pages.

What printer it it? and what version of windows do you use?

You don't need software to reboot it - pull its plug out or use the link above.
