The Starmer Stasi At It Again......
News2 mins ago
Hello all,
I am thinking of getting a GPS system and wondered if anyone had any suggestions. I would like one that I can use to navigate in car with (and I have hear that some come with speed camera locations on them) but I would also like one that can be used out of the car, to give co-ordinates, elevations etc.
does anyone have any suggestions?

The GPS is a small unit which uses bluetooth (wireless signal) to talk to the handheld software. I have found bluetooth connections a bit flaky sometimes. I don't use it all that often. When I do it is great. TomTom software is mainly for a road user. The maps wouldn't give much detail if you liked to walk in the country although it would give direction / elevation / speed etc. The maps for driving can sometimes be out of date. It won't know if the council has changed a road to one way traffic recently for example. So if it tells you to turn left make sure you check the road signs as well ;)
