What is the best material to use for making dog cages for the back of my vivaro van?

Im going to get a welder to make the cage doors however im wondering if theres a plastic coated ply or something along the lines of this material thanks?

My mate does this for a living.
What is the sheet for? He uses alloy 5 bar plate if necessary .. or facing ply.

The plastic sheeting would be for the cage sections which i was going to do myself as to get in kitted out fully is around £1000 but il check his site out thanks and see what he can do.
