if you block someone on facebook do they know about it?

no, they will assume you have quit your FB account as they will not find you via search and you will be invisible on friends lists

they wouldnt have a message, but because they cant see anything from you including any comments on other peoples status it can sometimes look a bit weird like the person is talking to themselves, so they may work it out

when you say message 4getmenot, what do you mean? so if i block them they wont be notified? if i make comments on my status or wall they wont be able to see it then?

they wont be notified and they cant see anything you put, they cant even find you when searching for you. Same as you cant see anything of theirs. but if you were on a friends status that they are friends with and start chatting it could look strange and they wil work it out if friend says 'lol nextqueen' and your post isnt there

will they notice then that im not on their friends list? if so, will they assume ive left facebook? also as im a nosey devil i would still like to view pics and comments of the person i want to block but i suppose i wont be able to see that then will i?

you cant have it one way and not other, if you have blocked them you cant nose at anything of theirs, if they have been tagged in a mates photo you wont be able to see that photo either. My friends list goes up and down all the time dont ever know whos one. but if they did notice and they then searched and couldnt find you they would just assume you had left fb.

but if you have a friend that is friends with them but doesnt really like them you could always sneak a look on theirs ;-)

Further to the point 4getmenot, if I ever had blocked a person, is it possible to reverse this by unblocking them once again?? Thanks.

Hmmm, good point nextqueen!!
I did have a great friend on FB,and we used to Chat for a good while some time ago.
But, since then he has just shunned me away!! I've done most of the messaging, but I have still yet to get a response.He has been on FB,and I did try to Chat with him one night.I tapped in a few sentences,but just got the silent treatment.
I fail to understand why he's doing this,as I haven't upset him in any way!!
This is why I'm thinking of getting my own back,and Blocking him for quite some time.
