2 Answers
My CD ROM drive has been playing up, so I did a PC Doctor diagnostic check on it and this is what it found;
CD-ROM / DVD Test: Random Read - **FAILED**
SCSI Error 6400H.
Failed action: Reading block 292007
SCSI Error 6400H.
Failed action: Reading block 297895
SCSI Error 6400H.
Failed action: Reading block 293358,
Can someone tell me how to fix this?

As it is a SCSI CDROM, you might have conflicts on your computer, especially if you have recently added any new SCSI devices, if not, then a conflict might still have occured if you play around with the computer settings. The best option would be to uninstall the drive and re-install it with the newest drivers you can find from the manufacturer's website.
