Re-tiling
10 Answers
Im looking to re-tile the kitchen, but as Im quite happy with the existing tiles, would it be an option just to re-grout to tidy them up?
(Im not very diy-minded so excuse me if I ask stupid questions!)
Would it be a costly job? Time consuming?
Any advice appreciated

You need to make sure the tiles are clean and grease-free before you start, and apply the paint carefully so it doesn't dribble - but the effect is really good. I did mine about eight years ago and apart from the odd touch-up, they still look good. The transfers do help to break up the plainness - just a few here and there in a geometric design.
