I've just had a look at the rangers blog and both chicks and dad are still there though they are expected to leave in the next 2-3 weeks. I check the site a couples ot times a day and all I've seen lately is an empty nest. The Lady left a few days ago but this was normal apperently as she always goes some time before the others

Thanks for your reply .Yes I found the blog after I had posted. and read through lots of it.There was 2 in the nest yesterday with a fish . And one had a fish today.
Hi wendilla, the chicks are still with us, and dad is diligently still feeding them, although less frequently. The idea is that he slowly gets them used to the idea of doing it themselves! He is plain dark coated, the chicks have light edges to their feather still. The blogs over the last week or so have been so informative and have told us what to expect. Lady left about a week ago - amazingly - and dad and the chicks will leave separately during the next couple of weeks. The nest is empty a lot but they still land and screech for food - or defend it from marauders - from time to time!
