Washing machines in Shanghai - Standard, Habit, Express, Night time, Big things, Softer cycles. Anyone had experience with these - daughter just arrived there - dont seem to be able to alter the temp - any help thanks.

Hmmm tricky one lulu, I would have thought standard would be like your 40 or 60 degree normal cycle, softer cycles could be for wools or delicates, express would be a quick cycle (prob 30ish mins).
Is there no other knobs to adjust the temp on the machines? What actual problem has she had? (ie. shrunk her clothes, clothes not coming out clean etc..)

Tell your daughter she MUST see the Shanghai Museum while she is there.

The building itself is a masterpiece before you see any of the exhibits which are also fantastic.
