I fate lolly pop sticks and cotton wool, its something to do with the dryness I hate to touch or hold these items. Sometimes glasses which I hand wash are over dry, is this as a result of extensive scratching to the surface?

Is there a way of reversing this feel, I sometimes put it under the tap again but with no difference.

Thanks in advance

I don't know how to solve the problem but I remember as a kid helping out in the school kitchen. The plates after washing were put into a rack and these were plunged into nearly boiling water. They only took a minute or two to be bone dry but as you state 'too' dry. I used to cringe to stack them away so ended up using rubber gloves! Maybe by applying a good absorbent hand cream could help.
I know what you mean about cotton wool I hate that feeling too. I thought perhaps it could be my hands which are usually very dry.
How on earth can glasses be too dry? they are dry or they are not dry.I know this is a bit of an absolutist point of view but I am fed up with couching everything I say in non -commital terms just in case I am not absolutely right. But they could be a bit damp!
urrgh, I hate that with glasses! Only find they are like that when they come out of a dishwasher though!
jomifl-- it's like they have a powdery surface and instead of being clear and shiny they look dull and just too dry!
