Yes, postcard or a letter weighing up to 20grams = 42p. a normal post-card enclosed in standard envelope will only weigh around 10g.   The other rates are: 40g.= 60p 60g. = 78p.

Can we take it that Gef still has access to a Post Office that is near-by and open when needed - and does not have a mile-long queue??.   If so he is luckier that the rest of the country.
