Speakers for the kitchen

Looking for cheap [ish] wall mounted speakers for the kitchen. Any ideas, please? I need something unobtrusive, that will still deliver a good sound, but not too large. Guess I need to get them the same rating as the stereo? [which I think is 8Ω].


Also need to rewire the speakers we have on the current system, is the ordinary speaker wire sold in my local electrical store good enough?

Just an alternative idea; I have a Sony iPod / iPhone dock which gives excellent sound.

Thanks Count, that's a thought, but I need something out of the way not on the worktop.
