We're having surf and turf...a nice sirloin steak with fresh langoustines...
We had to buy them from the supermarket though. My Brother, Father, Uncle and Brother in law weren't available to catch them for me. Darn shame....I was hoping I'd get a few lobsters and crabs as well.
I have IBS and most food reacts with me, I had a chicken stir-fry yesterday, the stir fry consisted of "safe" veg (carrots, small amount of cabbage and broccoli) and I was in agony half the night after eating it.
I do eat veg but not very often, I have also been told to follow a protein based diet as my body does not break down carbs well ..
yes, due to their sensory issues there are loads of food they wont eat either because of texture, its just easier to cook something simple, I cannot eat a large amount of food either so I tend to just have small meals.
I dont mind, I cannot change it so Im not going to worry about it
I don't blame you....simple is sometimes better. I'm lucky...my kids eat most things. I think it's the amount of cooking programmes they have had to sit through. When I asked my son the other day what he wanted for dinner he asked for...roast potatoes, but the par boiled one...and some caramelised carrots...
I have attempted to make cottage pie for the first time today! It is in the oven at the mo, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the OH is home soon so it does not cook too long. Also got greens to go with it :-)
