In my fifties and, like most blokes, sprouting hair from ears. Much as I would like to transplant it north a few inches, this isn't practical. Any reason why I shouldn't CAREFULLY use Mrs Spod's Veet/Nair etc?

Don't panic Sara 3, It's really ON the gristly bit (tragus) that is clearly visible. Topical only, that's why I emphasised CAREFULLY.

lol, can't you just shave them? tweeze? or epilate if your missus has en epilator.

I just use a wet razor, no probs. but if you do cut it, you will bleed like a stuck pig!!!

My H gets this all the time too, every time he goes to the barbers he asks them to do 'em. He has got one of those 'nose clippers' too and can use those as well.

You can get those elctric hairtrimmers which have an attachment, like a cylinder, that you can shove in ears/nose and it sort of grinds the hair down to skin, impossible to nick yourself with. Argos do a whole batch of these eg by Ronson. I wouldn't shove caustic chemicals near your ears and razors / scissors.....aaaargh, one false move and your brain's on the end of it

I do hubby's when I cut his hair. And his eyebrows. Won't do his nose though. It sounds like a squirrel going through his brain from one side to the other.
