I think I have finished, but cannot explain three of my answers!

1ac: Traveller about to take break, crossing cape in westerly direction (9). I have PASSENGER, but not sure why. I can see crossing could be PASS, but what else.... ?!

4dn: Supporter turned up in Man U strip (6). I have GLAZER, but not sure why. I think Glazer is the name of the owners of Man U. Is 'glazer' a support used in galzing window perhaps?

13ac: A rounded style of writing, but not right for author (5). I have AESOP, but agfain, not sure why. Obviously Aesop is an author, but ... ?

I know I shall kick myself when you tell me!

1a Passenger = Traveller
westerly direction = "reversed"
about (RE) + break (GAP) + cape (NESS)
hope this makes sense!
Question Author
Excellent! Yes all makes sense. Didn't think of 'ness' for cape. Thanks sarumite.

13a A + P(r)ose (writing) but not R(ight) reversed (rounded) = Aesop
