I abhor 'Christmas' or whatever it is- ( I accede for the kids as I cant take the magic away for them).
We're off to The Gambia ,Cyprus,Goa or Egypt -havent told him where I want to go yet :)
What do you do rowan?
haven't decided yet...might make it to my family for a change...usually have to have a fake christmas the w/end after so a peaceful happy few days...don't need presents...
Agree fully with Dris and Rowan. Christmas is for Christians and children. As I am neither, I don't do Christmas at all. It means nothing to me, just like Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Yom Kippur, Easter, Diwali etc. I shall phone my Mum on Christmas day because she likes to pretend that she's a Christian, but that's it...
Will celebrate around the time of Yule festival but only small scale.
For me it's always been around making sure everyone else has a nice time...usually fall into bed on Boxing day evening absolutely shattered
I prefer the days between Christmas and New Year - usually cos I have that time off work and I can just relax - all the 'festivities' over (and the purse empty....)
