Travel to the Isle of Man

The reciprocal arrangement between the British NHS and the Isle of Man ended in March. All tourists to the island now need to take out their own health insurance.

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone is thinking of travelling there this summer.

You're a little premature with your (otherwise correct) advice, DSJ.

The agreement was due to expire at the end of March but it was then extended by a further 6 months:

Thank you for that, Chris.

The agreement now expires at the end of September. However, travellers need to take out insurance for repatriation to the UK as this is not covered.
