you're not big on replying to any responses, ma1den, so why don't you ask the jobcentre?
None as far as I know.
the jobseekers ones deffo do.
Jobseekers allowance - you're supposed to be actively looking for work and available to start work.
You can't get income-based Jobseeker's Allowance while abroad.

You can only get contribution-based JSA while abroad if you're seeking work there (and comply with specific rules, which include registering for work in the country you're visiting). The country you're visiting must be within the European Economic Area.

Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Maternity Pay remain payable (although, of course, an employer might query how you're able to go on holiday when you're meant to 'on the sick').

Benefits related to disabilities normally remain payable during holiday periods. Carer's Allowance, Attendance Allowance and the care component of Disability Living Allowance continue to remain payable to people who move to other EEA countries.

I think it depends if its a normal one/two week holiday or as lots of pensioners/disabled do go away for three months at a time, anything over 6 weeks and they find out and all benefits will stop until they re ***.Just dont tell everyone where you are going ! people get jealous and can report you.If asked, say with your sister/brother in a town about 50 miles away and not somewhere up market.
re job seekers allowance, my pal's son claims it and we decided to treat him to a day's coach outing with us to Hastings from Barking, Essex, so he asked could he sign on a day early and they said yes but he had to spend the day at Hastings looking for a job !!!!!!
For what reason ? he was back in Barking by 7pm, even if he found one it would be too far to travel.
