Daftgrandad, another song about unrequited love, if you listen to the begining he is talking about all the things that he would do, if he could.

That line is about his frustration at writing the song and not being able to find the right words.

Salla: This apparently is a true story - Trudie Styler and Sting are at a dinner party so they are all sitting at the table, but Sting is listening to his Ipod. People try to make conversation but he ignores them. Trudie says "leave him, he does this everywhere we go" so they ask what is he listening to to which she replies "his own music"
