Not able to catch name or brand, but T.V. advertising " self activating pump" on soap container, because of numerous germs on dispenser pump.!!,surely you wash your hands with the soap AFTER touching the dispenser pump therefore having every confidence in their product,? Is this another way of raising the price of the soap and container? Or is it me?

no its not you. Unless you've got sensor taps as well its only a gimmick. The other thing is that we bought soap that fitted a wall dispenser years ago. Once we had used up the refill that came with the dispenser, I just kept refilling the bottle with my choice of sap instead of buying theirs :-)

Thank you . Thought I was becoming old and crotchety. and possibly too mean to buy this product!! Have a nice day.
It is the 'Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System'
I love this ad as its so bonkers.
The problem it is supposed to solve is dirty soap pump transferring germs.
Most situations that I have used soap pumps they are not likely to get that contaminated.
As woofgang pionted out, you have to turn the tap on with dirty hands first, so after washing them you then have to turn the dirty tap off.

Thanks for replies, no doubt the people employed to devise these adverts are paid a small fortune !!
I bet they waste a lot of soap, too, so you need to buy more refills.
I put exactly the same when I saw the advert. Unless you've got sensored tap too you are then turning the dirty tap off anyway afterwards.
