Astro turf is easy as it is low maintenance. You can lay it yourself, especially if you're not looking for a perfect putting green surface. It involves clearing and compressing the ground and laying either a concrete or aggregate base. If it's a large area you're looking at and you want it professionally finished it is probably worth getting in touch with a specialist company.
