Question Author
egg and tomatoe mrs o, we always used to have them when we went to the Seaside..lol with some sand in for taste...
Mrs o I think she means limp sandwiches with hardly any filling and a gritty centre.
sand which is ?

we always do Haggis, a little bit of good natured banter a few bevvies and most of all a great laugh, if they are good I might take some beef and mustard ones too
I'll pass on the egg and tomato, but the beef and mustard sound OK.
Question Author
oooh they are lovely kawakiri , farts in a box..lol
Now if there was some bacon in with the egg and tomato that would be different.
Ooh, my mum always made egg and onion - delicious! :)
Remember them well, how very '50s'. My mother would scald the tomatoes in a bowl of boiling water so that the skins would peel off easily, then mash them up with hard-boiled eggs, adding a dash of salad cream if necessary to achieve a smooth texture. Very tasty!
