But I am ironing and watching GMTV as I do so, there has just been a little lad on called Finlay (6) who has undergone five brain ops, it was arranged for him to go to O.T, he went on the pitch waving his little arms, he was in the dressing room and Sir Alex came in...then Rio Ferdinand, Sir Alex was as sweet as candy to the boy and Rio was a gem...I'm a convert!!! and I didn't have to put the steam on the iron
tears...plop-plop!!!!!
restores your Faith in a big way I think x

Agree with Rowan about this Bobbisox! Many Teams do Charitable work without Publicity but not MUFC..........max publicity is what they seek at all times.
You never see Teams such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal etc getting Press in when doing something for Charity.....

I kinda think because they keep a lower profile red, Newcastle do the same but they only ever get shown on our local stations and not the Nationals, it always makes me chuckle when I see a report form say, Kathmandu, to see a young kid running around in a Man U strip..lol
Newcastle will do a lot of Charity work for the Community but never seek active publicity for it and good for them !!
