Can anyone suggest a good, preferably free!!, Registry Editor
The easier to use the better but reliability is obviously more important.
Thank you

What a weird question. What could be easier or more free than regedit.exe?
Sorry to sound harsh, but if you need to ask this question, you shouldn't be using a registry editor.
Unless you fully understand what you're doing, you can do irreversible damage.
All versions of Windows include regedit/reg32edt.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?
Hi, Robert, Download and install CCleaner (usually called CrapCleaner).
It is FREE and will sort out all the useless and unconnected bits in the Registry.
It will also create a back up of the removed items so that they can be replaced if it causes any problems but I've never had to do that and I've used it for donkey's years..
Sorry, but I assumed you just wanted to clear it out rather than edit and alter the contents.
