Indesit Fridge/freezer mains junction box - cover removal

Does anybody know how to remove the small black plastic casing next to the motor on an Indesit fridge freezer, that house the mains connection?
I accidentally snapped the mains cable just inside this cover and just need to remove it to re-connect the cable, but try as I might I cannot prise the cover off, even though there is a diagram of how to do it embossed on the cover.

I am not going to pay Indesit £70 to come out just to remove the cover.
