I just can't stamp on anything. Poor little spider. I can swat flies though. Stamping on anything makes me feel really sick and queasy.

I couldn't stamp on anything either Lottie. I could swat a fly though...dirty things. I like spiders because they kill the dirty things...

But spiders aren't disgusting are they 4get. They may not look very pretty, but they kill flies. They aren't dirty or germ ridden. I can't handle them though, but I have learned to live with them and I used to be terrified of them. Cat doesn't feel the same though - she destroys them!!

I like spiders, much rather see those around the house than dirty great big flies, now they do irritate me!

Of course they are dirty with germs. they crawl round skirting boards, dont mind amsll ones but the big brown ones have to die if in house, fine if in garden. Maybe I should get a cat..... er no

Cured myself of spider phobia when my son was tiny. I refused to let him see I was freaked out by them, and let him pick them up and take them outside. My Mum was terrified of spiders and that's why I was so I didn't want to do the same thing. I still can't handle anything but the very little ones, but I do have a strange sort of affection for them now. Fred, the spider lived in our lounge quite happily for ages, but probably the cat ate him in the end.

Put a glass jar or something similar over them and slide a piece of cardboard underneath and remove them to the outside world!! :o)
