Coach Trip

People have mentioned Coach Trip on here a lot lately - what's the general idea of the programme (always on the look out for another way to pass the time!).

Haven't seen it in a while, what I recall is several teams of two go on the coach visiting various cities each day and they vote for the 'worst' couple who get kicked off and replaced.

Oh I love Coach Trip! Chelle7272 is right about the format. Basically the coach goes on tour accross Europe for 30 days and starts off with about 6 couples. Every day each couple takes a vote as to who they would like to leave the coach. If you get the most votes you get issued a yellow card. Then the next time you get the most votes you get given a red card and have to leave the coach, at which point a new couple replaces you. So if you are a horrible couple you could only be on it for two days or if you're lucky you could end up on it for the entire time. It all tends to get very childish and bitchy as people try to get other couples on their side so they don't get voted off and that's what makes it entertaining. Plus the rather camp tour guide Brendan is very funny with his little strops.
