Love the dish, yet to find a decent "ready made one" Anyone have a recipe for making your own to freeze? Cook the sausages first I guess, then freeze with the batter around it?
Thanks

Your other option is to have the sausages alreadycooked and the batter made up. Then while oil is heating in the tin, warm sausages in the micro-then bung into hot oil with batter. Have a shower or bath while it's all cooking.

If you make it yourself it takes so little time I'm not sure why you'd want to freeze it - also cos homemade has so few preservatives I don't think the yorkie pud would hold up very well
actually seems to rise better when cooked from frozen...but hard to get timings right as batter cooks quicker than sausages reheat...so only do it with the thin chipolatas
I don't have that problem - with my oven they rise so much I have to stop them touching the roof of the oven!

Just thinking of something nice & easy for after a long shift. Then I can just bung it in the oven.
