After some interesting theories from LL,ummm and salla to name a few, do you think a dream can determine your mood for the day?
Do you have recurring dreams? and if so, what are they?
this is open to everyone but Doc who will no doubt say 'wet ones'..lol

Like I said earlier bobbs, I think if you have a particularly upsetting and vivid dream - one of those that stays with you when you wake up, then it can affect your mood for the day, or certainly that morning.
They certainly can mine, as you know Bobbisox.

I can't remember the dream(s) I had salla, they were a mish-mash of all sorts?
I've had dreams where someone I know has done something awful and I've been off with them the whole day. I dreamt my ex put my cat in a suitcase and threw it away years ago and I was in a foul mood with him for days and couldn't figure out why :)
I use to dream that my Dad had died and I'd wake up crying.
My dreams, which have all seemed horrible lately, have been setting the tone for my days it seems.
I have also sometimes had dreams about work colleagues (oh la la) and then can't look at them in the face all day as "i know what we did last night"

I used to sis - any possible circumstance that meant I had to dial 999. I had every problem imagineable - vandalised phone box, wrong number, an operator speaking a foreign language, superglued dial on phoine, no dialing tone, forgot the emergency number, wrong numbers - the list is almost endless. I always woke up feeling distressed and remembered the dream. Came the day I first had to dial 999 I remembered all of my dreams in a flash but got through first time, thankfully.
It wouldn't determine my mood for the day but last night I dreamt about my ex and his family and I woke up kinda upset for all of 10 minutes then I remembered what an ar$ehole he was and was glad I was well shot of him!
I had a rather saucy dream involving Duncan Bannatyne.
I can't watch Dragons Den any more without feeling queasy

Haha mrs overall :)
Once had a dream where I was kissing some bloke from where I used to work, we're good mates and I felt so awkward for a few days after haha
Sometimes I have really vivid positive dreams that can make me 'high as a kite' all day - not very often though unfortunately.

There are two -not so nice- recurring dreams I've had involving plane crashes, usually observed from a distance but I've always interprested this as 'fear of failure'.
lol Butch

I may now forgive you for your remark in the poached eggs thread
