I met a boy on holiday and spent the week with him... on my last night he got really really drunk and got with another girl and then at the end of the night came up to me and apologised for about two hours... i kept saying i didnt really care and i didnt think id ever see him again... then when i got back to england he texted me saying he was still thinking about me and then that week we met up in england and had a really nice time. Since then ive been away and then he's been away and i havent spoken to him.. i sent the last text so i dont want to appear needy and desparate and scare him off but i really like him and i want to talk to him, what do i do? do i let it go or what?

Let it go. Sounds like a bit of a scoundrel getting with another girl while you are there. Out for what he can get maybe? Maybe not, he may be the love of your life I suppose, but would you forgive someone you met here for getting with another girl right in front of you?

I'd let it go. If you text again he will think you're chasing. He's got your number. If he'd go off with another girl while you're on holiday, he might have met someone else while you've been apart - harsh, perhaps, but he sounds like a guy who flits between women. Don't give him the benefit of thinking you're bothered - if you don't chase, and he likes you, he'll be back.

If he does not reply to the last text just forget about him. Where does he live. Does he live in the UK? You could always chat online.

On the other hand, he did "get with another girl" as you put it. Not sure how far this went but the signs are not good.
