Dog proof doormat....
8 Answers
Does such a thing exists? R1Dog insists on mangling our door mat. Is there a heavy duty solid chew proof doormat in existance? Any suggestions anyone?

They make rubber doormats - maybe the texture would repel him.
Or those old fashioned doormats that weigh a ton - it would take a pretty impressive set of jaws to mangle one of those.
But if all else fails what about one of these:-

I am looking for cat-proof woodwork. Either that or a nice wheelie bin.

Jack Russell = spawn of the devil. My brother came up with that one and I have to say that all the JRs that I have met in my life fit the description. One used to bully my bullmastiff/GSD cross - our dog was terrified of the little thug.
They are tenacious little hounds, so he will get through the metal one eventually.
Good Luck

JRT's are the most intelegent dogs (or children as we call them) around. Try coconut matting. They need company, someone to read the newspaper with etc, so get another one. mine, Tally Ban (hmmm) and Freddie (crouger) are now happy as they have each other and don't wreck the place. Also they need to work!! I live in the country, so they rat and rabbit for all in the village.
